+1. Carried 642 until DS arrived. Now DS is my EDC.The Colt Detective Special is conspicuously absent from your poll, and is the finest of the snubs in my opinion.

There isn't any shortage of used Colt D frames. Nice ones can often be had for the price of some of the other stuff....As others have said the Detective Special is a great piece, but for carry comfort I'd probably opt for a Cobra or Agent. They feel like a feather compared to a DS.LOL!.. Why don't ya place a call to Colt to see about getting one of those.
No need to trouble the folks at Colt. There are currently 57 Colt Detective Specials listed on Gunbroker; surely we can find one!LOL!.. Why don't ya place a call to Colt to see about getting one of those.
Whaa? Say it ain't so! When did this happen?Colt is NO LONGER in the DA revolver business!

but to me it's clearly beaten by the smooth, crisp trigger on the LCR
I support your right to do with it what you want. Sent it to the Obama re-election campaign, PETA or on revolvers filled with injection molded parts. None of my business.
Everyone gets yours tho G...anything made after 1992 is crap.I don't get your attitude.
Colt was not even an option in this poll. So why bring it up?
