Which Gun Are You Proudest To Own ?

Well oddly enough it's not my most expensive ones (like ARs & 1911s).

I'd say it's my T/C Icons, with CZ 550 FS a close second, and CZ 453 Varmint close 3rd. These just "do it" for me, due to their aesthetics primarily, but also the sweet triggers - At least if you use "fondlin' time" spent on a gun as a proxy for determining pride. :)

Hello friends and neighbors / Still my 1983 S&W 6" Model 586 6 shot 357/38 Distingushed Combat Magnum. S&W586.jpg

My Buck lite model 185 and modified H&K speed loader with Corbon 125 JHP go with 586 nicely, don't you think?

Used but never abused.

Oooh, not sure. I am thinking it is my new Dan Wesson Commmander Bobtail, but I don't know if that is because it is a new gun that I am just on right now, or if it's for good reasons. As long as it turns out to be reliable, I think my current feelings will be justified.

I'm struggling with the question, proudest.... Probably the sears and roebuck .22 that I have had since I was a boy.

Whats yours FMJMike?

My mother's Model 64 that she shot her first deer with, as did I. Or the first year Model 88 that my dad carried every season until his death. Or a Model 1890 that a dying friend gave me when I was 6, his last words to me were 'take care of this until I see you again'. There are many more.

I used to own a remmy 870 wingmaster 28ga that was given to me by my folks when I was 10. The gun now belongs to my oldest son who is now 10. I am proud to have it in my safe.

Hard to say. My grandad's 1890 Winchester? My dad's single shot .22 bought used by my grandad and given to my dad on his 12th birthday in 1939?

Or maybe "grandpa's elk medicine", the five digit serial number Model 70 dad had bored out to 300 Win Mag back in 1963. But I don't own that one anymore. Gave it to my son shortly after dad passed.

Hmmmm odd question,to me "pride" has something to do with a gun that means something to you.Like a gun given to you by your father.

I guess my Walther PPS and Sig P238 could be the ones im kinda proud of.Reason being im on a low income fixed budget and i had to actually save and sacrifice in order to obtain these 2 guns.
Plus they aren't the most common types you see consistently,so if im showing a friend or relative my guns most have never seen these 2.

I'm not sure about the one I'm most proud of but the one that holds the most sentimental value to me is my 6" Colt Python. My dad and grandma helped me get it for my job. My grandma loaned me the money and my dad did the paperwork. I was 19 working as an armed Security Officer. The gun was new and made the year I graduated high school. When I first qualified with it on the range I fired 3 perfect scores under the scoring system used back then. It has a very special place in my heart.

My Springfield Loaded Stainless. Wilson components all set up by Jim Hoge. Shoots better than anything i have ever owned and far better than me.

My Beretta 680 under single trap gun. Was given to me by my mother for my 16th birthday and I still own it and shoot it regularly today. Maintain about a 92 +/- average and don't shoot more than a 1,000 rounds a year. It is the only Trap gun I will ever shoot and hopefully will be a family heirloom as I think it is older than me.

Mine is a toss up between two. The first is my Winchester 1300 12gauge. Its a 1992 model with checkered wood and the winchoke tubes. My dad got it for me for christmas, it was the first gun that was "mine." The other would be my soul-less, ugly, cold, glock. Its a g21, and also my first handgun I ever purchased. I bought mepro adjustable night sights, hogue grip, Lone Wolf barrel, it came with a lasermax guide rod laser installed. I have also added a 6lb trigger spring, a 4lb striker spring, and a ghost rocket 3.5 connector. Its the best trigger I ever felt on a glock. I have lots of handguns, but that one is special.

i have two that im equaly proud of

one is my fathers glenfield 30-30 i got it upon his passing its not the greatest gun to anyone else but to me it is priceless

the other is my grandfathers war relic 7mm japanese rifle its in unfireable condition thanks to ALOT of saltwater but its what i have left of him so again priceless
