I currently have 2 Hi Powers, have had 4. I have a soft spot for the 1911 also, but I don't feel any need to have more than 1.

Hi Powers are like a drug... No, Hi Powers ARE a drug.

Wes

2 Bushmasters (XM15 E2S A3/16 inch Barrel and A2/20 inch Barrel)
2 Armalites (M15A2/16 inch barrel and AR10A2/16 inch Barrel)
3 Rugers (2 Mini 14s, and 1 Mini 30)

After the army I went a little crazy with the rifles and pistols, I fell in love with the M16 style rifles I dont know why, I guess because I already knew every single part to the rifle and I could take them apart and put them back together with my eyes closed after doing it for almost every day in a span 6 years, of course here in Jersey I cant have the colapsable stocks or birds nest supressors or 30 round mags like we got in the army, but im happy with my collection. I plan on buying more!

You are my kind of gun nut M2. I love the little commie, blow back shooters.

Besides my Mak's, I have forsaken every other pistol above 22 cal for the XD line. I have a Gen 1 HS2000, XD-40, XD-40 Tactical, XD-Subcompact and once I get back to States an XD-45 will most likely be my first purchase if I can't find a nice EG Mak before I get to the shop.

S&W Model 39 - had 4 (plus 639 S/S, Model 52, and a 5903 as well)
Ruger 10/22 - 4 of 'em (durn handy little rifle!:) - and still looking for the euro style full stock (manlicher?) version)
1911 - as many as I can get

Some of you guys really make me feel normal, thank you. . . .

More than 2:
Ruger 10/22: 4
Rem 870: 4
Rem 700: 7
AR-15: 10 or maybe 9

If it works, get a spare.
If you like it, get a spare.
If you really like it, get spare spares. . .
:)

Not sure if it's a continuing trend, but the last guns I've bought are inexpensive SA revolvers chambered in .22lr and .22 mag. Main use has been teaching new people.

I'm a shooter, not a collector, so 15 versions of the same gun don't do anything for me.

With that said, I have standardized on 1911s and ARs. I even have .22 conversions for both.

for me it would be Marlin lever-actions. nothing like a good lever action rifle...especially in a pistol cartridge caliber.

4 Colt 1911A1's
2 lever guns
2 S X S shotguns
and 11 other flavors
Of the 19, 6 of them are former military or military type.
Garand Springfield
M1 Carbine Winchester
1903A3 Springfield
M1A Springfield Inc.
AR-15 RRA
1911A1 Colt (1945 USGI)

I got way carried away in the whole Ruger 10-22 craze - I was building them for and for other people. Now I have the CZ craze. I finally realized that you can purchase a very high quality firearm for a very reasonable price. I still purchase other brands but the CZ is where my loyalty is at. :)
