This is just another mentally disturbed nut. His crime was horrific, but again I say no new bans and we continue to work to remove the onerous ones of the past.

I don't know that something bad will get passed, but I am sure it won't be for lack of trying. I think we need to be vigilant, and ready to react.
And on that note, I will repeat what we all need to do.
Join the NRA if you are not already a member.
Join the Second Amendment Foundation.
Join a local or State wide gun organization.
Join other anti-gun control groups. The GOA,JPWO, and many others. I used to have a list of National and local 2 Amendment organizations, but just google it.
Find out who your Congressional Representative is, and who your State Senators are, and what their positions on gun control is. Get their contact phone numbers, and use them.
Don't think it is impossible to change their opinion or their status as elected, if they disagree with you. As a Conservative Republican, I will state that it is possible to defeat an incumbent in a primary challenge, if you organize.
I think we will have some bad times ahead of us. Heck, a lot of people on this site don't believe in the
Right to
Keep and
Bear
Arms. But we have made some amazing strides in the last few decades, and I hope that this will not develop into a huge set back, but that will probably depend on us taking action in the form of contacting our government representatives.
