Great review, thanks! And about Delrin plastic, it is so slippery it is what some companies used as the plastic rollers inside the old cassette tapes.....in an attempt to be as frictionless as possible. Makes you wonder why S&W would use the stuff. 9 fingers

I tried to get one before my last NJ permit expired but they sold out so fast at the places I was watching and I kept missing out. Just as well....spent to much for Christmas anyway. Will get one next year. Good luck with yours. 9 fingers

I use what Dan Wesson tells me to use. But oils are used for different things, some for lubrication and some for preservation. Some great tests on the web that cover these subjects completely. 9 fingers

Suggestion for you. Ask your local gun shop, or maybe a Gander Mountain, if you have one near, when the CZ rep is going to be visiting next. He will have samples for you to handle. The store can arrange this for you if they choose to. BTW, love my 75b...one of the best. 9 fingers

Great post and pics and I agree totally. I found mine last year at a shop up in NY state, almost new condition, case, manual and an extra mag, which is good as they are rather scarce. An excellent .380 and one of my favorites. 9 fingers

The CZ 1911 is made in the DW factory in Norwich, NY and are very well made, better than the typical Ruger/Remington offerings in this price range. CZ is known for making small batches of specialty guns now and then and will likely make more of these down the road. 9 fingers
