I don't get many good deals. I generally see what I want, check the price and if it is somewhat reasonable I buy it.
So I have to cheat just a little.
The best $100 I ever spent on a gun was put toward a $139 18" Mossberg 500 12 gauge.
It works great, shoot slugs like a rifle out to about 60 yards, and throws a pattern like the classic sawed off shotgun from a movie that wipes out three guys, a limousine, and a company of mounted calvary with one shot.
Definitely money well spent.
