****, they need to kill the bill.
He's apparently decided that he wants a Second chance at private life, come November. North Carolinians will remember, as will the rest of America. He's gonna lose the support of his home state just like Al Gore (yeah, I know there are primaries first). Looks like it'll be Ketchup Kerry (slogan: "giving duck hunters a bad name since 1969") that loses to President Bush this fall.Edwards voted Aye. Some proponent of the 2nd he is.
Some say it's better to have the whole bill pass (even with the AWB attachment) and hope that it gets stripped out when it goes back to the house, but I personally would like to see it die now. Yeah, lawsuit protection is important but sending it on just increases the chance that the AWB will actually be renewed.Stripping it when it goes down to the other house? Or does the entire bill get killed?
So what's the next course of action? Stripping it when it goes down to the other house? Or does the entire bill get killed?
