I've got a Ruger P345 as my .45ACP. I do like it, it's very reliable, feels, shoots and looks nice. To be honest, I don't shoot it much because I don't want to buy the ammo, and I would rather practice with my carry guns. I kinda have it as my "always" gun. It's always clean, oiled, loaded and ready. My Taurus, Walther and AR go to the range with me every time I go. And I shoot them a lot. I bring the Ruger too and keep it loaded and within reach, even if it's not going to be shot that day. Same with when I am cleaning all of the guns I shot. Out comes the Ruger, just waiting, in case God forbid, the unlikely chance of something going down when the rest of my small collection is in pieces soaking in solvent.
So I like the P345 a lot. Not as a gun that a blast to shoot, but as a gun that I trust enough to always be there, even when my more popular guns are down for service.
