I bought my truck for $500, but I have put way more time and money into it than any of my guns. I could probably only get $1000 for it, but in my mind it is worth more than any 2 of my guns.

I have a car a good car but its value keeps going down every day like everyone else.
On the other hand I have a few collection guns and their value keeps going up.
So it is just matter of time now.

Nope. I'd need a Barrett M107 or an expensive double gun to pull that off. My car is a used VW GTI. I doubt I'll ever own a gun more expensive than the car I drive, as by the time I am able to justify a $10k+ gun I'd be rolling around in a Bimmer, Vette, Mustang GT, Porsche, or something else entertaining. Cars are the other hobby of mine, and you definitely pay more to play versus guns. I will say this, at least guns tend to hold their value!
