And the experience was great.
I was doing 53 in a 35 and was in a hurry to get to class. Got done playing golf with my son (Springerman 05) and was running late. Had the .45 Kimber with me in the glove box and got pulled over. Noticed the AHP heading north as I passed him heading south. As soon as I seen him he started pullin over and I knew I was had. Pulled off at the next road and waited on him. Once he pulled in behind me I had my hands on the wheel. Was in the process of eating a ham sandwich so I was finishing it when he walked up to the door. I gave him my drivers license and he asked me for my registration and proof of insurance. I told him that it was in my glove box with my concealed weapon. Didn't have it on me since I just got done playing golf. I told him that the weapon was in there with it and he said "I still need to see your license and registration". As I opened the glove box I told him that I was going to remove the weapon and put it on the passenger seat and he said "ok, I still need your registration and proof of registration". So I removed the weapon and gave him what he needed. I also gave him my CCW permit with my license.
Long story short, he let me off with a warning and said to slow down. Overall, his demeanor was pleasant and he didnt stress over the gun in my glove box since I showed him my CCW ahead of time.
BTW, BUCKEYES RULE!!!!
