Top Gun Supply just sold a couple hundred Grade B surplus P7s on another forum in a matter of days. $499. Are they 30 years older than a new Glock - yep. IMHO, in light of today's lax standards, that is actually a positive. Heck, John Browning's venerable 1911 design is over 100 years old now, and folks continue to buy them in droves. (Even with the lackluster 7+1 capacity!)
There is no logical ending to this discussion. If we were all practical and non-emotional, we'd all be driving Toyota Tercels to the corner Walgreens, and we'd NEVER look over with a tinge of envy at the guy in the next lane driving his BMW M3.
