28 days in Ohio. $110.00 for the class. $67.00 to the county for the permit.

Out of state PA permit took 12 days cost $28.00.

i took my class along with a buddy anf his dad. In Missouri the max wait time is 45 days. The sheriffs office has 14 days to approve or deny and the FBI has the remainder. My buddy got his back in five days, his dad got his in three. I don't know if it was because of racial profiling, my lack of having any record at all, or that between the time that I dropped off my application and they did theirs, there was some sort of back log. But. I dropped mine off with in the next few days after completing the class and he waited a couple of months. i don't know what the deal was, but the sheriffs office called me on the 45 day to tell me it was back and approved.
I'm Hispanic and my buddy and his dad are white.

Lifetime permit here in Indiana so, it was worth it.

Texas Backlog Eases

The backlog of applications in Texas has eased off. I received my CHL last week. It took less than 80 days from classroom to plastic in hand.

The fee is halved ($70) if you have served in the military or are a senior citizen.

I recently applied for my CCW for the first time about 3 weeks ago, a few days after turning 21. Took 7-10 business days for me to receive my permit and $15 payment whenever I filled out my application. Good for 5 years.
