ok, lets say you could get any gun(one gun mind you!) your little heart desires, and customize it anyway you wanted. this isn't the last gun you'll ever buy, or the only gun you'll ever own. more like some rich, eccentric relative told you "go buy something expensive for yourself. my treat!"

A nice custom fitted German Drilling in 12 gauge and .308 springs to mind. Or perhaps a tricked out Shiloh Sharps rifle in .45-70. Or perhaps a Berret .50 BMG....

Damn, so many different options. I would have to think loooong and hard on it before going after something.

I think I would want something in the Belt fed full auto category.

I think perhaps a AR class full auto lower with a belt fed .223 upper and a 9mm upper and if I could swing it a .308 upper (I don't know if it would fit but if it was one of those nifty belt fed uppers I don't see how it would be a problem)

So thats what I'm thinking.

Or a .50 with a sweet scope and the whole set up.

A Beretta O/U Shotgun, one of the really, really, really expensive ones with all that nice engraving and fine Italian craftsmanship. I would opt for the most expensive one they make. That way, if I got sick of it, or just needed cash, I could sell it, buy other guns and still have plenty of cash left over.

I have simple desires...A ULA model 20, barrel further shortened to 18", stock shortened comparably, 13 1/2" LOP, lightened further with hollowed bolt handle, etc. and a good set of peep sights with a fiberoptic front, chambered in .257 Roberts, so when loaded, with sling and ready to go, weighs less than 5lbs...
