Just for fun......:D

If your buddy called you right now to go shooting, but you could only grab one gun on your way out the door, what would it be?

A few months ago I bought a Hatsan AirTact .25 cal barrel break air rifle, with a scope, for $99.00 and no tax in Oregon.

One of the best $99 I’ve ever spent. Quiet enough to shoot in my basement, powerful enough to punch through 1/2 inch plywood at 7 yards. Cheap to feed, less than 0.10 a shot.

The barrel break slows down shooting, allows for plenty of trash talk. Air guns are totally under-rated, both on the fun-factor as well as usefulness: this gun will drop any backyard pest at most back yard ranges too.

My usual load out for the range is my Shield 9, Glock 48 and M&P compact .22. About every third trip it's my S&W model 15, S&W 642 and Marlin 1894 .357.

Have you seen Gamo's ten rounders? https://gamousa.com/product/swarm-maxxim-10x-gen-2-22-caliber-10-shot-break-barrel-air-rifle/

Knowing my buddies were joining me at my local gun club last Wednesday I grabbed My S&W 610, Governor, and 317 revolvers along with my Desert Eagle. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Indoor range? S&W 686 with Heavy for caliber Reloads.

Outdoor range? 308 rem model 788 I just picked up…

Or I’d check zero on my favorite rifle I’ll be using for hunting... My Beloved 375win Savage 99.

It would depend on the kind of shooting; pistol or rifle, accuracy or speed. While a compact Glock or S&W M65 is good enough for fun at the falling plate rack, I would chose this old gun, just in case a little more accuracy at longer ranges may be needed and also that I haven't shot it in a while.

I can imagine that it was fun with 317 revolvers plus two!!! My range bag couldn't fit them and my old back couldn't lift them:D...
