whited - lmao, can you not read??
why waste your time coming on here....just to post "no"??? seriously, just skip it and run along if you don't want to play nicely. that's like someone posting a thread comparing 2 different revolvers and you coming on there stating you know nothing about either one, but don't like the way they look. just don't say anything at all.....duh

Ruger P90, Mossy 500/18", and a 95 pound German Shepherd.

I agree with JKimball regarding the pistol grip. Mine has one and I plan to change to a standard butt stock as soon as I get my hands on one. The pistol grip sucks especially on a 12ga.

Elza, I thought it would be the other way around? Maybe I just like them because they look cool... Whats your reasoning behind swapping the pistold grip back to the standard?

I find holding the weapon out in front of me to be very ungainly. It feels far more comfortable with a butt stock. But, this is just me. Many people feel otherwise. And, in the case of a 12 ga., it is difficult to control. I would prefer a 20 ga. but I got too good a deal to pass it up so I’m stuck with the 12.

I check the list...

It's a Rock River SBRd lower with 11.5" upper, Surefire 500 light and Eotech.
Magpul stock and Noveske FH (necessary with short barrel).

It's a bit heavy because of the light, but I've humped it around all day in several classes and it's not that big a deal.

If I was going to build it again I would choose a different light, one that is easily removable. You can take the light head and batteries out, which helps some.

It seems I'm the only one here who is less than eager to post detailed
information about where I live, what I own, and where the items are kept.
I was just offerring a suggestion, that's all. Calm down buddy. No need
to act adolescent and suggest I can't read and then make really
poor analogy about the situation.

You're not alone...

In fact one of the mods posted to this thread and his entire response was, "NO!". So there's a mod that agrees with you too.

The risk assumed by telling the world and all the evil people in it who care to look as well as the ATF what you've got firearms wise is probably very, very small. Still it is a risk and any risk is worse than no risk. Some are just more willing to assume that miniscule risk than others.

used to be something significant... now it's my ccw which is just a Smith 642. If I put an EOTECH on one of my AR's, it'll then be that.

This feller' right here is my first line of defense. He's a mean sumbitch, but he's not entirely trustworthy.. I've heard all it takes to get past him is a meaty bone... I bet he could whip your dogs! (with help from about 5 other dogs)

Failing that:

This ends up #2 because it's the second easiest for me to grab right after the beretta. Allthought I have a bit more than that to pick from.
