Mine has one and I plan to change to a standard butt stock as soon as I get my hands on one. The pistol grip sucks especially on a 12ga.

I bought a pistol grip for my 870, thinking it was cool looking, I guess. After shooting it a couple of times that way, I put the regular shoulder stock back on.

Are you at all worried that the snubby wouldn't be enough if somebody broke in? I've been wondering about it lately and am trying to figure out how to get quicker access to either a shotgun or AR and a bigger pistol.

I've got a Mossberg 500 in 410 with spreader choke and short barrel.

I know, I know, I've should have got a 12 ga or a bazooka or something. But I want something my 4'11" wife would use during those 10+ hours I'm away from home every day.

I don't know about him but I load mine with 00 Buck pointed up and my slugs pointed down. Makes it "easy" to remember whats coming out the tube.

Regolith, you should buy a mossberg 18" barrel for your 870. It will make a world of difference and cost you under a hundred bucks.

I keep a very big, heavy rock next to my nightstand. I will use that to fight my way to my Paul Chen katana. then that to fight my way to my sig p228. then that to fight my way to my safe, where I have a really, really, big rock.

also, I see one, maybe 2 (hard to tell if it is just a bandoleer, already have one of those) slings for shotguns that incorporate shell holders, again, can you guys point me where you got them? How are they lengthwise for a tactical shotgun. I have tried a regular sling which of course is too short.

Don`t have pics of my mossberg 12 gauge for certain reasons but I sleep with these three ladies at my side.

Springfield XD in .40(also my regular carry gun), Kimber .45(what I carry when I am "going out" dressed up a bit more. When I go looking like a gentleman(rare but it happens) I wear a gentlemans gun. Also have a Benelli 12Guage sitting here, and the wife has her .22, although she can shoot the XD so she gets that if need be.

Madcrate, too bad about the cats. I used to have a cat, if someone came in who was not invited, he would attack. Let me tell you that was a brute of a cat, we played rough ALL the time, he had some strength behind those razors on his paws too. He looked so innocent and sweet until you got near him and he didn't know you, then it was hiss hiss growl swipe swip swipe x 100. Funny thing is, his name was Tuvok. I rescued him as a kitten, where the guy's nephew used to toss the cats about 10 feet in the air and let them land on the concrete(he got beat up for that). I had to move and get rid of him though. I miss my kitty.

I brought home a friend one day, he went upstairs, I went to get grub, cat didn't know I was home. Cat was sitting in my bedroom doorway. My cat straight launched at him, and shredded his hand wide open. Whoops. He was GREAT defense. Can't tell how many times I've had my door cracked open a bit to hear a friend yelling for me to come get control of my cat. I came down and there's my cat at the door growling snarling, and reaching out trying to get to the person outside. ATTACK CAT ON DUTY< GAWD I MISS HIM!
