Need help in choosing a 9mm

I know there have been a few 9mm handgun threads here lately and I’ve seen what
many folks carry and prefer.

Taking into consideration the subjective nature of firearms I’d like to know what in
your opinion is the best all-around 9mm in regards to capacity, ease of carry and conceal,
and easy to shoot.

Thanks in advance.
as stated above --very personal choice

good candidates include:

glock 19(or 40 cal glock 23)

H+K vp 9

walther ppq

cz P-01 (or in 40 cal p 06)

all perfectly sized for carry and are very reliable 9mm

I like the feel of the Glock 19 though I do not own one, yet! I had a Ruger SR9c which I traded for a full size Beretta 92FS. The Ruger was very reliable. I never had a jam with factory ammo. Accuracy plenty good for a carry gun.

I have the shield, and find it to be quite accurate for a short barreled gun. At 10 Yards it was very surprising how well it shot.

I rotate between a G17 and a G26 with G19 magazines in it.
A lot of that decision is based on what I'm wearing a where I'm headed.
I also have a P64 that is a 9mm Mak, but a darn handy pocket gun that's been crazy accurate for me.

I would say something the size of a g26 or G19. I can carry one concealed with nothing more than a T-shirt as a cover garment. Smaller than a G26 and you start giving up a fair amount in terms of performance. Ymmv on that point but I believe most people will find that to be true if they do a quantifiable comparison in drills with a shot timer and account for speed and accuracy.

I like the VP 9 a lot. It might well be my favorite 9x19. I need to get a AIWB rig and see how it conceals though. A G17 is big enough in the grip I need more than a t-shirt to conceal it well. I don't know if that will be true for the VP9 or not.
