semi auto bans are discriminatory

The ADA is about more than civil rights - ask any commercial architect commissioned to make a local county courthouse compliant. Even Army Reserve centers have to have appropriate door openings, water fountains, and bathroom stalls. Hey, someone's veteran Dad may need that during a family event.

It's like the one hand knife - otherwise known as a switchblade. Many local ordinances control or ban them, with the exception of someone who has just one hand. I'm sure that anyone challenged with the loss of an arm could make their case in court about a particular salient feature if necessary. Like as not, officer discretion wouldn't let the issue come up to the point where a PD or county prosecutor would get burned in court - but I live in the Midwest, where common sense politics is a tradition.

Coastally speaking, it would probably escalate to marches, sit in's, etc., which would be great when that facility was shown not to be in compliance even for a demonstration.

Be it known, ADA is "policed" by lawsuit - if something's wrong, the plaintiff hires a lawyer. There is no enforcement mechanism other than you or me asking for the judge or jury's agreement. All a moot point IF semi autos are banned and there is no production at all, which is not likely - regardless of who gets elected. Campaign promises are sometimes just that, never to be accomplished at all.
