rbernie, I did NOT want .308 on the list
I didn't put it there - somebody else musta done that.
I am aware of other calibers that "look" like the original AR10 but they are not AR10 rifles.
The Armalite AR10 can accept barrels made by others, and I have several such beasts. There is no magic to getting an Armalite AR10 in a chambering other than 308.... :)

7.62 (.308), in an Armalite ar-10a4cbf.

My next (in a while) will be a 20" 450 marlin from accuracy systems.

The 450 Marlin in this rifle MAKES the most sense. (to me - weight/power) Well that is what I am telling my gun fund right now($$$$$$$). The WSSM line in the AR15 doest it for me, a game hunter.

I would still take one of of each.

Did anyone say .308

So is it still an AR10  :)
I'm sorry to the doctor and everyone else. But I'm probably a "purist".

Would be a great walkin-hog hunting gun.
Don't all hogs walk? :neener: The .450 Marlin should make a great hog blaster whether they are laying down, walking, or even on the run. :D

To be perfectly honest I didn't know that you could chamber such a beast in a AR-10...sounds pretty nifty. :)
