I watched a hickok45 video last night.
The last pocket pistol I would ever sell.

I knew what he was going to choose from watching previous videos of his.

So I thought let's start a thread: The last handgun I would sell!

I would have an easy time picking the pocket pistol that I would never sell, but the handgun I would never sell??

Let's hear about your last handgun that you would ever sell!

Woo, man. That is a toughie. I have so many that I love to shoot, but none are for all the same reasons. :)

It would be a toss up between my S&W Models 13, 14, 17 and 66; a CZ75 SP-01 and 75 Compact; a SA Loaded 5” .45 and Kimber Stainless Target II 9mm and Rugers like my Mk IV, Bisley .32 H&R and flattop .44 Spl. ;)

Sorry, I think I am keeping them all.

Stay safe.

Don't know if I could narrow it down to 1. my MKii gov target that I bought new in mid seventies I would never get rid of(although my gd is trying to say it belongs to her now). my super redhawk and single six I won't part with. Not sure what I would replace my Kahr cw9 with, it has been on my side for so many years now I feel naked without it.

My Single Six. It was my first handgun and would be the last to go. We have been too many miles and too many years together not to trust it completely. It will do anything I really need a handgun to do. True it is far from a decent let alone a good CCW, but I could make do in a pinch. As for non-concealed self-defense, I'm using a long gun. Same for hunting, my handgun hunting days are in the past. While I believe that a 3', 5 shot, 357 is the best jack of all trades master of none handgun, familiarity and loyalty makes me still pick the SS6.

Sell? A gun?

I know that many Gun Collectors would never sell a firearm. That's good for them!

Other gun people will sell or trade a firearm to get something new. Others will because of financial demands or something like a divorce.
I have been fortunate enough that I have never had to sell a firearm for financial reasons.
I have traded firearms to get something new. Something that I like more. I sold many firearms before a move a few years ago. Keep firearms that I actually use!!!

I have a Gen 4 G23 with conversion barrels for .357SIG and 9mm, Dawson Precision tritium sights, a bunch of magazines and several holsters. It's nothing special. It's a gun I no longer carry. But I would sell every other handgun I have before that one. Simply because it's so versatile.

Another way to look at it would be, if I could only have one handgun, that would be it.

30-1 that was my first birthday present from my wife after we got married. Easily would be the hardest to get rid of for both sentimental and practical reasons. It’s enough for small game and self defense if loaded right. It’s silly accurate. AND it’s a beautiful gun too.

Right now it is a dead tie between my Ruger MKII and my S&W Model 625-7 45 Colt Mountain Gun.

Kahr K40. Purely as a matter of practicality. It's not my favorite by a long chalk, but a honkin' old revolver, or a 110-year old 7.65 auto, or a pocket .380, or even a full-sized, metal-framed double-stack 9mm, isn’t going to check as many boxes.
