I owned a CZ-52 for a while and loved shooting it, but the ergonomics were terrible and the sights sucked. I just love the 7.62x25 tokarev round and would like to get another firearm that is chambered in it. What are my options?

Handguns
Russian TT33
Chinese equivalent of the above
CZ-52
any others?

Are there any 7.62x25 carbines available? I see the parts kits all over the place for these old carbines but I never see any receivers or finished guns for sale, what gives? I wish that someone would make a modern pistol and carbine chambered in 7.62x25. I see this round as a great alternative to 10mm auto for protection when out hiking, etc. Plus, it is cheaper, almost as hard to find as 10mm and has a larger capacity in the same firearm than 10mm. Are there any pistols (maybe 10mm) that could be converted to 7.62x25 with a custom barrel?

So, 7.62x25 enthusiasts, what can we do to get more manufacturers to offer something in this round? What do you guys own in 7.62x25 and why?

It looks like I'll have to end up getting another CZ52 or maybe a TT33 and just be happy with that.

The problem is the overall length of the ammo. I have contemplated a conversion of something in 10mm, but while the case length should work the loaded rounds are just too long. They won't fit in Glock or Para mags. Perhaps if one were to load their own ammo and use hollow points or something truncated.

There were some ppsh's rebuilt into semi-auto only a while back (they accepted both the stick and drum magazines). As far as I know, that is it on the carbine side. Handguns will be limited to Tokarev's, the CZ-52, and the odd US-made, Chinese captured and converted 1911's.
