You are lucky to have such a old and cool gun passed down. My grandpa was a shooter in his later years doing turkey shoots. And my dad when a kid shot his 22. So they were never into guns to much. I got my grandpas 12 Mossberg from my uncle who took the guns after he passed away. He sold all of them except the shotgun so i got it. Shot it a bit. I am more comfortable shooting a 20 than a 12 and it was a heavy gun and a bolt action. So i sold it.
