What have you done in the reloading room today

Going to try and hobble back there right now but I'm on my 6th day of a gout flare up and it's not fun. Only second one in my life. I think my Monday range visit is in serious jeopardy.

But I need to load 16 more 45acp rounds to fill final two mags.

Here I go.
Best of luck. Had slight gout once, but when my low back is flared up… wheeeweee! I hear the hobble! Ouch!!

Mom is sick(with the same thing kiddo and I have had I’m betting) So I have a helper today(and we’re both happy about it;!kinda nice to have her a couple days extra since she’s gone next couple weeks with mom) so we’re Off to do some shopping. She helped me tear down the muzzleoader and get the barrel soaking in “barrel blaster” on the reloading bench. Hoping to find some 357 bullets on the shelf at Scheels and load up a ladder for my pop. And we’re hanging up an old blanket on the other side of the reloading room for a “daisy backstop”.

Took apart 68 357 mag reloads. I used 158gr XTP bullet and 8.0gr of Herco to load these, and the recoil, flattened primers and stiff extraction told me they were too hot. 8.0gr of Herco is not the max but apparently this lot is faster or something. Anyway, now I will reload them with a different powder.
I've gone through that procedure before - the recoil, flattened primers and stiff extraction told me they were too hot. :) The older i get the more important the recoil gets

I've gout a number of times and decided to go on a plant based diet (reduces inflammation) and 8 ounces of tart cherry juice daily...problem solved....be well

I actually didn't realize there was any remaining areas with enough open space for shooting.
Went out to Great Bridge area, close to Carolina line. The owner has probably close to 80+ acres, He's going to move his berm to another section because he's getting ready to lease the land for a solar panel field. 30 year lease, then 5 year negotiable after that. They'll put in a paved road too. Win! Win! situation. Money follows money.
The farmer who uses the land now will just have to have a smaller crop of what ever he plantsI guess.

Excitedly put away the 3lbs of N110 I got my grubby nubbys on. Gonna get used a lot being my preferred powder for 44 Mag and 300 Blackout subs, I'm sure it'll work pretty well in .357 that I'll start loading soon! Started cleaning my Beretta 303, until my wife reminded me we have dinner to go to this evening, and I smell like campfire... It was getting a little "slow" while shooting sporting clays today, time to clean it!

room, I wiped these down from the bucket cause it was a tad rainy here
If y’all had the fog we did, you must’ve been shooting something very close. lol.

I broke out the hoppes #9 and cleaned up the Ram on both presses(the “free Lee”, and the Hornady Classic). Also polished up the primer arm for the classic. Might try to make (or find) a bracket for the powder drop to mount it to my plate bracket.

I played pickup sticks, but with bullets. I got a box from @Soonerpesek if 125 & 170gr boxes of Sierras for the .30-30/.30-40. Went to put them with the other boxes I have and accidentally knocked two other boxes of the top of the safe. 250 mixed .30 cals - 173gr Hi-Tek coated GC cast, 150gr SSP’s and 110gr Speer JHP. They weren’t hard to tell apart but they went everywhere.
Got my morning exercise. 😁😓
I knew it, I'm bad juju! Sigh..... sorry.
