My first gun that I bought was a raven arms p-25, got it for $60 when I was 19. It was fun for what it was, wish I still had it.

Good ol' Mossberg 500. Didn't come from a firearm bearing family so I had to establish that tradition myself. Just had a little one and will have to decide between semi, lever or bolt action .22 for his first :D

A Savage Model 20-V over-under, .22 over 20 gauge. I still have it and I still shoot it, though its not a very good gun.

Dad wanted to get me a squirrel/rabbit gun and found it used in the newspaper when I was 11 (1982). I remember shooting a beer bottle with the .22 in some guys back yard before Dad paid $75 for it. It shoots great, but I've had the hammer mounted selector switch repaired 3 times and the plastic trigger guard replaced once. I finally gave up and took the torch and a grinder and made a steel trigger guard for it out of a gate hinge.

My kids shoot it, but the narrow straight drop stock makes 20 gauge kicks like a mule.

Mine was a CZ52, traded it for A Chinese SKS. Sold the SKS for 350 bucks. Took the 350 and used it to move across the country. Now I'm back up to 3 guns but I'm seriously considering getting a part time job to supplemement a gun slush fund.

Sig P232 Stainless, bought it used for $200 a few years back. It's been a sweet gun but unfortunately hard times are forcing me to sell it in a couple weeks.

Harrington and Richardson single shot 410 gauge shotgun. Sorta still have it, it's at my brothers house and his son uses it. Got it when I was 11 years for Christmas back in 1977....... Still had some of the ammo for it that I just shot last year.... both shot and slugs. Brought back alot of good memories.....

My first gun was a Daisy lever action BB gun I bought with my paper rout money when I was 10. First real gun was a Browning T-bolt .22 that my dad gave me for Christmas when I was 13. Still have the Browning.

Ruger 10/22. it was as accurate as can be stock, then I foolishly messed with it and gave it a custom stock and barrel and it wasn't as accurate any more.:banghead: so I sold it. Lesson learned.

SIG P229 9mm, back in 1998. Bought it myself, still have it, still my favorite 9mm. Everything else I own has been a fruit of that tree.

Christmas 1955. I was such a gun nut by the time I was 5 that my grandparents gave me a BB rifle with a wire wall rack that held the rifle and the red metal cleaning kit.

I still have the kit with the glass bottles of bluing, oil and such, but the gun wore out 30 years ago.

I just got my first this week. A sporterized 03a3 from my grandfather, and a ruger 10/22 with the BSA sweet 22 scope.

Marlin 81DL that I got for my 10th Christmas. I still have it 67 years later and it still shoots like a dream ... and I think of my Dad every time I shoot it or see it in my gun rack. Thanks, Pop! Love 'ya!

I got a Marlin model 99 22lr in about 1964, although I wasn't allowed to keep it in my room until I turned 16. It's been on countless camping and fishing trips with me on the back of a dirt bike, been rained on numerous times, been treated a little rough sometimes, but I always cleaned it good when I got it home. Still shoots as good as it did the day it was new. I wish I had a nickel for every round I've shot through that thing over the years.

NEF Pardner 20 gauge was my first. I still have it, although it has some very small pitting on the surface from being stored in the garage.

My first was a Stevens 311 C 20 ga. SxS .I bought it with the cash I earned on my first trap line when I was 12 . I think the grand total for the shotgun & 2 boxes of ammo was $78 at the local J.C. Penny's store.

Air Powered: Crossman 2200 Magnum .22cal rifle

Purchased: Springfield Armory Stainless Loaded 1911 .45 ACP

Inherited: 1961 Vincenzo Bernardelli Monocanna Pieghevole 12ga. Break Action shotgun (Dad's gun)

I still have them all and hopefully always will.
