If you consider a BB Pellet gun I got a Daisy 880 10 pump.My first "Gun"was a remington 22 pump I still have it and it is very accurate with a Urntel 4x scope on it.I noticed that the new Daisy 880's are plastic junk,I got one for my son yrs. ago and is nothing like mine was, talk about quality going down the tube's.

A bolt action Harrington and Richardson .22 rifle that I received from my folks for Christmas around 45 years ago when I was 12 or 13. I still have it and still shoot it regularly.

A Thompson Center muzzle loader in .32 caliber. Gift from my Dad on my 13th birthday. Still have it. It's a pretty mean little squirrel killer.

I think I was seven or eight years old (1994ish) when I got my first pellet gun for Christmas, a Crossman Powermaster. Then a few months later my dad suprised me one day when he brought home a Glenfield Model 75 .22lr. It had a 4x32 scope on it already from the pervious owner. Its seen countless rounds and many range days with either my dad or grandpa. I still have it and plan on passing it on to my kids if I ever have them.

My Dad gave me a Stevens Model 311 12ga SXS so I could Quail hunt with him when I was 12. I still have it and it's 50 years old this year. The first firearm I ever bought was a Remington Model 700 30.06 for Deer hunting and I still have it.

My Grandma gave me an old Harrington and Richardson .22 that had been my grandpas before he passed on. It's seen some shooting, but not much, it's more of an heirloom.

My Series 70 Government Model 1911 that I purchased as a freshly commissioned Marine 2ndLt. Like a good marriage;still got it 'till death do us part ....and even then it'll go to my Lt. first born.

Mine was a Bersa Thunder .380, purchased on my 21st birthday based on advice received here on THR. It was a great gun but I was convinced I needed a Sig Sauer so I sold it. I'd definitely purchase another one.

My folks didn't like guns. But they did tell me that I could get one when I was old enough to legally buy one myself, and I'd have to pay for it on my own. So, they day after my 18th birthday, I went out and bought a NIB Ruger Mini-14 for $175. It was on sale, but the regular price was only about $20 more. Keep in mind that this was 1985. Still have it, but I wish I'd splurged for the factory folder. My first handgun was a used Sig 2340, bought it while i was in the LE Academy in NY. Still have it. BTW my mom still hates guns.

Mine was a Winchester 9422. Dad gave it to me for Christmas in 1979. I still have it and the card he gave me that year. I lost Dad the day after Christmas in 2010 but still have his love of fine firearms. Just last Sunday I bought my 12th Winchester Model 12. The Model 12 was always Dad's favorite shotgun and about 2 months ago I found one made in 1946 the same year Dad was born so I had to add it to the collection.;)

Mossberg 352K from Dad in 1958 ..a 22 semi with a folding front forearm. It was burgled in 2004, then recovered by someone looking for wilf asparagus, after 17 months under some shrubs.

I turned 21 in 1994 and I knew what I wanted. Glocks were still coming into their own and I had been a fan for a while. The weekend after I got my foid card I purchased a Gen 2 22. I think the price was in the $700's and the extra mag ran about another $100. That was right around the Clinton ban and I paid a premium. I still have it and with my limited shooting almost looks new.

My parents bought me an mosin nagent for christmas when I was right my first firearm and I still own it

My first gun was a Ruger 10/22. The stock was kinda beat up but the rest was really nice. I bought it for $75 at a pawn shop, reshaped and refinished the stock, and will never, ever let it get away!

Winchester Model 67

Bought (Used) for me by my Grandfather in 1959!
With the finger groove stock & chrome trigger, so, made before late 1935 when Winchester eliminated the finger grooves.
It's a miracle that I've held onto it for so long, and It's not going anywhere!

CZ52, dad got it for me when I was 14. Should have got the 9mm barrle when he was going to buy it for me.

Aug 1972, stationed at Keesler AFB, MS. Me and the bride bought a Sterling .25 auto, and 40 years later she's buying me guns for my b'day and Christmas. What a gal!:D
