My next purchase will be a Yugo SKS from Aim Surplus for my son's 14th birthday in February...and maybe one for me since they're so inexpensive right now.
I know I'm getting a Tikka T3 for a wedding present. I'll probably get the scope for it as a bday present (the two days are only about a month apart). I hope to buy another Yugo SKS at some point this year. Then I'll have to save for the .45 I want, probably a Para Ord 12.45 LDA, but I doubt that will be this year. I might also get a milsurp rifle for a knockaround hunting rifle so I don't get my Tikka (mostly for long range shooting) dinged up.
One of the Henry survival .22's. Had one of the first ones years ago and it would shoot great. Be a great little take anywhere rifle. http://www.henryrepeating.com/survival.cfm
Well, let's see...I want an AK-47; a Thompson 1927 with the drum; a black, evil-looking assault rifle with an evil-looking 24" barrel, evil-looking mag light, and an evil-looking scope; a .45 carry sized revolver...I don't know which will be first!
Maybe an SKS from AIM since they are so cheap. If not, it could be any number of things. I've been wanting a 686+, a CZ75, a Makarov, some sort of pocket pistol, a 9mm upper for my FAL (takes Suomi drums!), USP Tactical, AR - there are so many things I want! It'll end up boiling down to how much money I make and how much self control I have!
A Rem 597 in 17 HMR in the next couple months, as I don't want to pay to swap barrels on a Ruger 10/22mag, and cannot afford the Volquartsen offerings.
~
Not very glamorous - but more than likely a Beeman R7 air rifle , perfect for indoor shooting during the cold months ahead.
After that a 1911 may be in the cards - a friend has a custom Colt 1911 he will sell me or I may just bite the bullet and order a Rock River or Les Baer.
I promised the wife I would only buy two this year.
1. Springfield XD-40 with S&W 329 Airlite. (That's one)
3. 12ga Double Barrel. (That's two)
Where'd you get that?
Oh I had that a long time.
I never seen that before. How much did we pay for that thing?
Bout a $100.
Well, that looks like it cost more than $100 and I never saw this before. It looks new.
I take good care of my gun's.
Well, I don't think you're telling me the truth.
Dear, have you ever caught me at a lie before?
I would if you came home tomorrow and I told you I sold this to my brother for $100.
It's hard to keep the left hand from knowing what the right hand is doing.
a 10-22 with syn stock so my lady will be able to handle the 'weight'.
maybe a new cowboy gun,my clones are wearing out and parts are iffy to find on some of em.
the new EAA single shot rifle coimnig ths spring.I'll go 45-70...I like popping cans clear out of the county!!
Probably a Beretta Storm when my dealer gets in his next shipment.
Also thinking about a .22lr pump. Anyone have any opinions on the Henry pump or others. I'm open to suggestions. Haven't shot a .22 pump since carnival shooting galleries when I was 12, 47 years ago
Probably a Saiga 12 gauge with the 19in barrel. That thing has "Destructive Device" written all over it, and a ban in its future (in my opinon). I need a better HD gun since my stoeger 2000 has a 28in barrel and is really ungainly for HD.
