$300k is about $100k cheaper than the median price in my county where most new developments sit on a 50x50' plot. That would be a bargain to lots of folks that live in areas with overinflated real estate prices.

Actually it isn't clear in the video if it is a pre-built home or just the plot itself. There seems to be enough conflict that people will (and should) do some research before plunking down life savings on an idea.

Exactly. The question is, what does that money buy? It seems it's merely a level of membership, not any actual real estate. That has scheme written all over it. I pay a $50 fee per year for my pistol/rifle range. One-on-one training can be had locally for a few hundred. Yet these folks are charging tens or hundreds of thousands, which seems way out of whack to me. It reminds me of the SoCal GSD breeder who did some basic training on the pups and sold them as "Executive Protection" dogs for ten or twenty times the going rate. Down in lala land and environs, I guess you can always find someone stupid and rich enough to fall for that sort of thing.
