Gun show heads up

The gun show at Garret Coliseum in Montgomery Alabama this weekend was advertised to be "big".

I arrived at around 9:30 AM. There were a couple of vehicles in the parking lot, with a nice lady at the gate wanting $5 to park. (She said it was $8 to get into the show.)

Before I paid there were a couple of folks leaving who were outwardly upset. I paused to listen and they were angry because there were "Three tables of guns in there".

They lady asked me, did you hear that?. Yes, I did. She then apologetically explained that they were not affiliated with the folks running the show and that she was sorry.

I decided not to attend, so I cannot say for sure what was inside, but the folks leaving were very upset, talking about "three tables" and "false advertising".

I do not know what happened, or if vendors are just late (Way late), but that was my experience a few minutes ago.

Just a heads up. I would ask at the gate how many tables were inside before I paid, if you go check it out. AC

I wonder - three tables in the show or three tables of guns in what otherwise appears to be a flea market. It's the sort of management that keeps me outa Xroads shows out this way.

the Montgomery, AL "no gun show"~! There is one this coming week-end
(June 9th & 10th) at the Bessemer, AL Civic Center; and I will be sure not

I wonder how the rest of the day and Sunday went. There is another show at the Shrine Temple in two weeks. It is a regular show here and while not large by any means, it is a good one. They are the same group that is putting on the Bessemer show, so you should be good to go.
