Here's my two 6.5X 55mm Swedish Mausers. One sporterized, and the other kept original. Paid 80$ each for these.

iamkris is legendary in the pictures threads here. Usually after he posts people start thinking twice about posting their mil-surps or other arms because he's pretty much got it all covered.

I think there is only one or two other guys here who's collections are similar.

EDIT: And BTW iamkris, that offer for me to be your full-time gun cleaner is still on the table.

What happened to that Krag's stock? Are you making a new one?

Yup, it was one of the 1950's NRA sporters...stock cut down but all metal left intact. I got a semi-inletted stock and worked on it hard...then got distracted. And there is sits 2 years later.

Ah, crap. That isn't my intent. No bragging intended...just like to post pictures. And there are plenty of guys who have WAY better collections. Mine is just a "shooter" collection...nothing special in the specific pieces. Just 30 years of what I was interested in trying out.

How about you provide the ammo and let's go shooting! Especially the new 1919...that dang thing is HUNGRY!

Yeah, all I have is a 1944 M1 Garand, and iamkris already posted a pic. But I'm still young, give me time. I have a bit of a wishlist for the coming years, but I'll probably get reproductions in many cases.

Okay my point of view,

even after iamkris's display of milsurp might, I still say that we should post up our firearms anyway. The OP wants to see everyone's, not just someones that sums it up. Everyone knows that each rifle is different. My M44 may be worse, the same, or better than iamkris' to me, but that doesn't mean it is, it's how we feel about OUR firearm.
To tell you the truth, I'm sick of hearing "well iamkris pretty much sums it up so I won't bother".
Besides, we all like a little bit of firearm pornography, and who can deny the mature mistresses? Show 'em off. You purchased or inherited the rifle, you've earned the right to brag.

Got a couple.

I assume this thing saw military service at some time... with some army...

standard.jpg

Maybe more of a police weapon than military...

standard.jpg

What can I say about this one? Paid $81 for it and it even came with a bayonet.

I know... I know... some purist will say "It's not a true 98K."

Agreed 100%, iamkris isn't putting anyone down by posting his collection he is just proud of it. You guys and gals be proud and post what you have even if it is only one firearm.....

Great pictures so far.

I've only got 6 firearms to my name, but the most I've owned was 7. Yes, it's modest, but I'm just beginning my collection. I'm proud of what I got. I'm also proud that I have the capability to be adding more to my collection sometime soon. Glad I have some support on this subject.

Here's most of the rifles...

Mil-SurpCollection.gif

I should've put the mags in the AKs, but I was taking some quick pics (this is obviously a mosaic and all pics are not to the same scale).

I am hoping to add some more Mosin Nagant carbines (M44s and M38s) to the collection soon...:neener:

Cheers! M2

Iamenvious

Wonderful pics all around. I am a lurker in the rifle thread (own quite a few pistols and revos), and I am lusting over these rifles.

Thanks for the photos and please keep them coming.

No, don't hold back any gun pics. It's nice to see all of them. This is just a pic thread, not a competition. We have what guns we have. For whatever reason, and we like them for that reason, or some reason. So as long as you like the gun, post it. Don't feel embarraed on how few, or how many guns you have. Be proud of them, and be proud to show them off.
