Tanker/Bulldog Enfield

Hello Gelgoog! I see you have one of these shortened Enfields also. I have not been able to glean much information concerning these modified rifles. Can you, or anyone else on this thread, tell me a little more about who and where these conversions originated? The general consensus so far suggest these abbreviated Enfields were never original military issue.

A few companies did the conversions. Gibbs rifle co, Navy Arms, and a few others. There was no true tanker enfield, so alot of companies created their own versions. You need to be really careful where you buy them from as some of the real tiny enfield conversion had a tendency to knock their own nose cap off when firing. I believe

Lionking has the SVT-40 pic award so far. Very nice!

I hope to have pics of my Yugo M59 SKS soon, it's being rererefinished. Cuz I'm a re-re probably. Decided to put its original condition under a nice finish.
