Im all for amnesty IF the illegals have to pay taxes like everyone else.

Heck, let as many immigrants in as you want- so long as they are fully 'registered' *cringe* I hate that term.

Another reason not to vote republican or Democrat come 2008.

If she runs, Hillary will win by default when the vote splits again.

Or she is just building up a huge bank account and has no plans for the Presidency. But the United Nations is ready for a woman leader.

Keep an eye out for who disappears or falls down dead.

Me? If its down to these two, I'm staying home and filling sandbags.

Amnesty will not correct the problem if anything it will be worse, some
perhaps most employers desire illegal labor not green card workers, the
illegal will work cheaper, longer hours and ultimately it's about money.
If anything amnesty will increase illegal's coming across. Local police
must have the authority to arrest and detain Illegal immigrants and then
they should be deported, Then and only then should we have controlled
legal immigration for employers who will agree to help share the burden
of health care and services.
 
Maybe its just a political trick to get the GWB administration to tighten up the borders. Will probaly work too.:D :banghead:
 
She can't win because she's a lightning rod. I don't know a single Republican who likes her.

As the time draws near, there will be quite a few "former Clinton associates" waking up dead to clear the way for Reichmarshall Hillary's run.

Hillary president in 2008 is Jorge's plan. If he gets more chummy with the Clintons, the trio should rent a room.

At least in the past, Kane and Kodos tried to look different. Clearly, they no longer feel they need to bother with the theatrics.
 
Funny i'm 100% WASP and i'd be just as against my people coming here illegal. It really gets down to if you believe in the countrys sovereignty or not. Can't help but wonder how King George would react if somehow it was people in that great of number coming from Northern Europe illegal. Or better yet if Iran crossed into Iraq. Want to bet against it being 180% degrees different then it is now?

If Bush wants to make an open case for another 25 million Mexicans because we need someone to help bail out Social Security and Medicare given that the Baby Boomers haven't saved enough and nearly have their beaks open, I'd be willing to hear it. I'd be willing to hear a lot of things, HONESTLY ARGUED OUT IN THE OPEN. There are arguments to be made for a lot of things, but instead we get government by subterfuge and sentimental platitudes. The American people aren't stupid. If they are told they need to save or conserve energy or study harder because if they don't A or B will happen and they really aren't going to like that, they have the brains and guts to hear it and start adjusting. Instead we have governments that are no better than enablers in a sick process.

If the American populace heard the rational discourse on the topics, and the bad results if don't A, then they might come to realize that their government has turned into a freaking bloated leach that they are better off with out, since 99% of the time the populace is better able to take care of itself. That would threaten the governments control and its reason for being (at least as those in control see it). We can't have THAT happening, now can we? :uhoh:
 
I think I will be wirting a simple letter to my representatives and congressment.

Feel free to use this if ya want. I think it's cut and dry.


Dear Senator So and so,

I am writing you today to express one thought. I feel that the next election will be driven by one major issue. That issue is illegal immigration. It is now affecting PA, and specifically this area.

My vote in the next election will go to the candidate with the strongest stance AGAINST illegal immigration.

If you would like my vote, and many like mine, I strongly urge you to take a hard and determined stance against this problem.
