I'd like to see some moderator interest in this thread, the back and forth in here isn't very becoming. Any moment know someone will assure that their dad can beat up my dad.

As far as the guard goes, I wasn't in his shoes and I hope I never am. If the BG's had opened fire on people, I imagined I'd have to get right with God real quick and go for it. If it appears the BG's are after the goods with every intention of getting them and leaving post haste I can't imagine opening fire first, essentially committing suicide, and probably getting any number of bystanders shot in the process. That's just bad math right there.

Nobody was being raped. Completely different scenarios. These thieves were after one thing-jewelry. Nobody was being harmed. This was very situational(I know it's really difficult for you to grasp), and sometimes you need to calculate the odds and the outcome of a situation by using your brain. Get it yet?

As long as he did not shoot, I would not shoot or try to stop him, it's not my money, but it is my life. Now, don't get me wrong, I could have shot him in the back of the head and slept good that night. But then I would have most likely been charged with murder.

I didn't detect any flames, although if there ever was a place for them, this might be it. And certainly satire is a valid aspect of a debate. Even in the midst of responsible decorum we can have humor to blunt a blowhard.

My concern is that we didn't learn any viable tactical information. All I learned was that Big O01 doesn't like Chinese food or my invitation.

For all his wind, I bet Big001 doesn't know what cover, concealment or avoidance is.

His post history shows him to be nothing but a big d-bag in quite a few posts, but I'm sure he's here to show us the light.

I probably would have taken on those guys with NO innocents, and a Marine fireteam as backup. In the circumstances I read, all that guard would've done is get more people and probably himself killed.

I think I'll live to fight for something worth fighting for, thank you.
