Ruger LCR Opinions?

I have the .38+p LCR, it is my go-to carry for reasons I call superior ease of concealment. Jacket pocket, jeans pocket, waistband of jeans, hell even shorts without issue. Reliable revolver that shoots very well for me at distances it was designed for. Please note I have quite a few other options for carry, I use this thing the most.
Now off topic to the poster above singing Taurus praise... I have an inherited .380 auto Taurus / Beretta clone that was made in Brasil, in the late 80's. It had a broken component, part of the drop safety system, which short story - Taurus refused to work on it. They said it was out of production and sorry. They also would not sell any replacement parts, which they are apparently known for. So 200% accountability??? How bout a hard NO. Just my actual experience. Did eventually find a worthy smith that was able to remedy the situation.

Polymer revolver in a weird caliber that was $660 before taxes when I checked online yesterday. Sounds like a lot of red flags and bad idea. So I ordered one. LOL, should be here next week.

I always thought the 357 version was the best due to its steel frame. And I never shot anything over a 38 P+ in it, it was just about all I wanted to shoot. Really wished I kept it. So now after Buckeye has flaunted his for the thousandth time, I broke down and got one in 327. I won’t shoot anything over 32 H&R in it, and mostly just 32L since it’s what I have the most of.

The LCR327 has a steel frame also .. you will like it
In a semi-auto world .. a revolver will always have a place especially with me .. being Im older and no longer Superman .. because “IF” Im dumb enough to be in a altercation.. which Im I have enough sense to pretty much avoid, unless it is a old school robbery or something… and it goes to the ground… a snubbie in the boiler room is a great option… and six 32 H&R pills will pretty much take the wind out of any druggie

I also have a LCR357 …

Yeah, I’m pretty much low speed nowadays. The 357 LCR is another one I will be rebuying, like you said the steel frame tames down the 38 +P loads and I’m very accurate with it. I think I sold it to get the 327, and then those funds went to something else shiny.

My 327 was ONLY $625, and should be here Thursday. It was going to get a 340 J Frame, but just couldn’t bring myself to pay that.

You're complaining about a company that doesn't make parts for a pistol it no longer produces and won't service them anymore?

What do you think Ruger is going to do in the future regarding the P series pistols? I've alreqdy seen it said they're running low on recoil springs for one of the .45s

of the ruger lcr varieties that i have shot or owned (38, 327, 22wmr, 22lr) i vastly prefer it in 327. if i am choosing between 38 snubbies i would get a used s&w or a new taurus over a ruger. the true j-frames (s&w and the taurus clones) have the widest choices in grips and holsters to most easily make mine truly fit my taste, and their recoil impulse with the widest variety of ammo easiest to take.
