I've been doing a fair amount of learning through training. Last class was in September, next one is in February. I hope to mentor others based on the things I've learned and will learn. I teach my sons, but they're still too young to be concerned with many of the concealed carry and defensive handgun skills. They hunt. They shoot handguns at the range. They do martial arts. But they don't even have driver's licenses yet, so they're not really motivated about defensive handgun skills. The few guys at church that are motivated about this are active Marines or active or retired LE. I'm not about to mentor those guys, but I think about doing some classes with them (Gunsite, Thunder Ranch, ITTS, MAG, Rogers). One of them was talking to me about holding some classes but I'm not sure we have students. The nearest IDPA club is probably going to host a 5x5 qualifier early next year and I'm hoping to get to that.
