The scariest I ever saw was a .30-.30 an older kid in the neighborhood I grew up in had. I watched as he loaded the magazine then ejected some shells then he pointed it at my belly and pulled the trigger. I was probably about 9 or 10 making him 13 or 14. I never told an adult about it but I never went in his house when his parents weren't there after that.
