When stateside, this gets carried most often. At one time it had a very nice blued finish. Not anymore.

I have stopped carrying my S&W Model 38 Bodyguard in lieu of the KAHR PM9. The S&W J frame was my standard for years and the GLOCK 26 was my second choice for pocket carry. Both have been replaced by the KAHR.

The KAHR is an always gun and with me everywhere. On those days I pack a bigger gun as well then I have a Beretta 92D or 96D Centurion on the belt. They give me the same quality double action revolver type pull for each shot with the addition of a magazine with lots'a'bullets! :D

Right now I carry either a Kahr K9 or a M95 Detective Hi Power. I'm looking for a pocket carry gun, so I'm thinking of either a lightweight snubbie in .38 Special or a pocket sized Kahr.

I tried the P11 and just couldn't get used to the trigger on it. So heavy that I wasn't accurate and had a ridge on it that was rubbing my finger raw. I traded it in towards the K9 and am very happy with it. Amusingly enough I used to think that the Kahr trigger was too heavy and long, it took the P11 to make me appreciate it. ;)

Oh, and to keep this on topic for this forum on the weekend I sometimes strap on a pair of Taurus Gauchos in .357 for a little cowboy shooting. :)

5" all steel 1911.

I like it better than the rest. Conceals easily, shoots like a dream and did I mention I like it better than the rest?

My favorite's gotta be my GLOCK 23 in .40 caliber. It is compact enough to carry most anytime under an untucked shirt. It shoots very well and is totally reliable. It has night-sites and carries 14 rounds of .40 ammo. I believe the 40 is the ideal combination (distinctly not a compromise) of compactness and power.

I've grown attached to my Glock 19. However, I've been thinking of a new caliber for the upcoming winter months. Can't decide on a .45 auto or a nice 357/.38 revolver. Decided to keep shooting the various gun that my range provides and see which one I'm most comfortable with.

My favorite carry gun right now is a GP100, 4" fixed sight stainless, but with the large grip. I also have a square butt S&W Model 36 no dash in a pocket. The GP has a liquid smooth 7-1/2 # DA trigger, is accurate, and the .357 will take the fight out of anybody. I don't have any trouble concealing it in a Kirkpatrick OWB holster, regardless of whether it's 5 or 105 outside.

Sometimes, I'll carry a S&W Model 22 with Eagle Classic grips. I usually compete in USPSA and ICORE with a 625, and really like .45 moonclip guns. Once in awhile, I'll carry a 325PD. I've even carried one of my 1911s, but they are mostly just for fun.

I just have lots of confidence in a .357, and shoot revolvers better than anything else. The GP may not be as sexy as some other guns, but it is very comforting, and I have no doubt that I can rely on it.

glock 27. reliable/good cartridge and half the time i forget i'm carrying because it's such a small piece, especially in the phx summers......

Favorite carry guns...As in gunS, and more guns.

I have so many favorites I'd look like that old commercial of John Bianchi's if I carried what I wanted to.
Number one is a S&W L frame .44spl, 3" bbl in a Milt Sparks VM-2 holster. The next best is an AMT .45ACP Back Up DAO I carry in one of Bob Mika's superb pocket holsters. I refuse to go out in public looking like a moron, so I don't call attention to myself, but the two I mentioned will either one do the job right for me. Now, if I work on it just right the Colt .25 will go on one ankle...the Smith 342-1 on the other.....then in the belly band...........

K-Frame S&W, three-inch heavy barrel, loaded with 158-grain LSWCHP +P. The "everything you need, and nothing you don't" gun. Durable, plenty of power, easy to shoot, totally reliable, and easy to carry around.

For me, there's just nothing out there that does the job better than a three-inch K.
