We still have work to do. The battle is not over. As others have pointed out there are many options left to those of us that live here.

I'm up for that.If there aren't the "right" organizations to do this, let's start new ones.
Enough of the "My state is better than your state". If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere.Oklahoma will never buckle to the gun-grabbers.
If it can happen here, it can happen at the federal level.
I didn't necessarily mean during this term. I'm not saying it is likely, but I do consider it fully within the powers of the RNC to get it wrong and back uninspired establishment candidates and as a result bungle an upcoming election and lose power in the House.House Republicans keep saying, "No way, no how", but what if the Democrats offer a really tempting package of spending cuts and/or tax cuts in exchange for gun control? A number of Republicans were elected on tax and spending issues, not gun control issues and they may be tempted by that bait.
I can't help but think that the Dems would not be pushing so hard in the Senate if they didn't have some kind of plan to get through the House.
The House was supposed to vote on a bill to require universal gun background checks, but that item was held up and now heads to a conference committee where lawmakers will hash out language about corporations purchasing guns.

Not sure if this was answered but I would second that option. Is there a law against grinding the date stamp off your mags? Pre-ban or otherwise?
I'm finding nothing whatsoever about obliterating the required serial number or date. The only thing is this...Not sure if this was answered but I would second that option.

A large-capacity magazine that is manufactured in Colorado on or
after the effective date of the bill must include a serial number and the
date upon which the large-capacity magazine was manufactured or
assembled. The serial number and date must be legibly and conspicuously
engraved or cast upon the outer surface of the large-capacity magazine.
The Colorado bureau of investigation may promulgate rules that may
require a large-capacity magazine that is manufactured on or after the
effective date of the bill to bear identifying information in addition to the
serial number and date of assembly.

If you arrive in Colorado and want your gun back from the airline, is someone, (a cop or TSA e.g.) going to refuse to give it to you until a background check is complete?
