That 20 extra feet and having to do it 10 times in a row does make a big difference.
It took me two shots to figure out the proper site picture ; the first time I didn't hold low enough and the second time I held too low. The third shot hit the +50 circle, the fourth shot hit the +30, the fith hit the +10, and the last shot brought me back down to 75.
This was cool - can't wait till next month's match!
You're right of course - I should have taken at least a couple of warm-up shots. Next time!Next time sight in on a similar target and after you and the gun are warmed up, set up the match targets.
