You are doing better than most of the rest of us. Most of us have to grow our own. The young lady I married didn't really care for guns and shooting when we met. I gradually got her interested. We tried several different forms and now she is a confirmed cowboy shooter, even goes to the range by herself to practice.

Channel side....... you weren't at that goofy piano bar were you? I've been there a few times but never have I seen these creatures that you speak of.

I'm not believing this until both girls swear out a notorized letter (notary must do a Mick Dundee check to make sure they're girls) saying they really made those comments. :neener:

This does read like:
Dear American Rifleman,

You'll never believe this happened to me, but it's all true...
:uhoh:

My wife recently surprised me... She's shot at a range with friends and me, but never wanted a gun for herself, still isn't sure, but we did our taxes this year and got a decent return. She told me she wanted to get something for the house with it, then said, 'And why don't you get that Walther P99 you want?" I balked at spending the money right now, and she actually talked me into it, telling me I should think of it as getting something to defend her with.

On top of that, I'm taking my CCW class this weekend, and she's joining me...

So with this girl, or girls, if there's more than one, just make sure they not some crazed gun totin' mama, and enjoy a shared hobby, and, more importantly, a shared viewpoint!

A Korean lady who I found owns a P226 bought me dinner last Friday....

She's taken, but they're out there.

I also understand this post to mean two seperate pro-gun girls. Either your the luckiest gun owning SOB alive or, um, you a big liar! :scrutiny:

Hummmm, I'm gonna go with the luckiest SOB part for now. Need pictures of you at the gun range with both of them. Hopefully it's hot and they are scantily clad. ;)

Then you woke up????
this sounds like a reoccuring dream I used to have..that and the one where I'm on the bus in my underwear.......
you lucky bastad

Very nice find. They're out there!

My girlfriend currently wants me to take her shooting. We've been together for only a short while so I'm still trying to get her comfortable about firearms. She doesn't like "weapons", but she's open to try out target shooting.

I'm starting to notice that "going to the range" is becoming more and more frequent. I'm hearing more of how so and so female friend went shooting the past weekend. I shiz you not! And this is even in Southern California!

Females like these are out there. But you gotta find them, they wont fall on your lap. (even if you wanted them to.... ;) )

Sorry for the confusion. Two different girls. What is the probability of that happening?!

The first was completely random. The second, I had been talking to for a couple of weeks before we met on Saturday night. She has a very conservative background. Her father hunts quite frequently. She said that she didn't eat hamburger meat until she was in her late teens! Some of her friends picked up some hamburger for spaghetti. Since she had been used to venison her whole life (which is very lean comparitively) she thought there was something wrong with it, due to all the grease. That was interesting.

She also told me that she used to shoot competitively with her brother when they were younger. They shot .22's, but I can't say that I have fired even a single round in formal competition.

The second girl and I, went out again on Sunday night to grab dinner. She asked me what I wanted to do next weekend. Of course, I said, "Let's go to the range." :D On Friday, she wants to go to a Country-Western bar to dance. I don't know about the dancing, but I'll have a couple of beers!

Ak-47me - It is the same area. That bar is a bit silly. One of those novelty things. There is one in Ft. Lauderdale too. It is called "Howl at the Moon". A lot of bachelorette parties go up there.

Well being I'm "the luckiest gun owning SOB alive," I should probably go out and get a lotto ticket. ;) I was seriously wondering if I had some kind of "tell" - like a tattoo on my head that said "NRA member" or "Proud Gun Owner". It was a strange but promising weekend for sure!

If I weren't already married to a wife that's pretty easy going about guns, I think I'd HATE YOU. ;)

If your keep your eyes open and wait for the oppertunity it can happen! I met my wife at a shooting range - her father was teaching her to shoot.

Ruger is discontinuing the full size model Vaquero's and I was moaning about not having a Bisley to try SASS shooting. She got out the checkbook and we went down and got a pair!

When you find a good one the magic words are - I love you - can we look at rings now?

Possible explanations
1. The poster is a budding novelist trying out a plot.
2. Its a set up. The ladies know each other and concoct a plan befuddle and bemuse our poster.
3. I want this dood buyin' my powerball tickets. Gotta be the luckiest guy in Florida. Quick! Someone run the probability numbers.

Good all over ya! :D

Just a few months after I got married, my wife cashed in her vacation time to buy me a 3rd Gen Colt SAA 44-40. Also worked overtime to get me Browning BPCR .45-90

Having been thru "wife from hell", my advice to any single guys is, make sure and don't settle. They're out there, but you gotta keep looking. When you do find one, appreciate what you've got

One of the first questions my now mother-in-law asked me was "You do know how to shoot, don't you?" She sounded very suprised that I only owned one handgun. I hadn't met the future pa-in-law yet who turned out to be a competitive handgunner and got me into shooting, reloading and often, the dog house. In-laws, ain't they great.

The girl I met recently tells me she's ever only shot a gun one time, but would be more than happy to join me at the range and learn to shoot. She knows I always carry, and has no quelms about it whatsoever.
