How many guns do you keep loaded all the time?

Normally only two. But others with loaded mags. Loading/unloading is where most AD happen. Also bullet set back. So two main carry guns stay loaded.

I always have my Taurus 85CH loaded up (except when dry firing:neener: ). I usually have one (sometimes two) more, but it isn't aways the same gun so I can't say I have it/them always loaded. Also, while my SKS isn't loaded, I do have 100-200 rounds loaded up on stripper clips, easily accessable to the gun and ready to go in case of a really bad situation.

Currently:

Beretta 92FS - 15 124+P Gold Dot's
Walther P22 - 10 CCI Velocitor's
Sig P 239 - 9 124+P Gold Dot's
Mossy 500 - 8 Remington 00 Buck
Bushy AR - 20 55gr XM193's

How ironic... I was just thinking recently about having more than one loaded in the house ready to go. After reading some of the post, I'll now have two out 3 loaded.

The trusty SIG P220 stays loaded with Gold Dots, empty chamber.
In the closet there's an AK with a 30 round mag holding 20 rounds next to the gun.

An unloaded gun? ain't that more like a baseball bat with poor ergonomics? ALL mine are loaded... and since I posess a CCW, they're all loaded ALL the time, unless I have JUST finished shooting one (before the reload) or am cleaning them...

I keep one .17HMR revolver loaded. It is kept in a single-lock cabinet as small kids sometimes visit while I'm unaware or absent, but I can get to it pretty quickly so that doesn't bother me.
....
I only have rimfires anymore, mostly target stuff. Most of the target guns are a b*tch to unjamb even at a casual pace when they get hung up, so they are not worth considering as defense guns as long as I have any revolver around. The 10/22 I have rarely ever jams (and I have 30-rnd mags for it!), but it has a heavy barrel and stock and large scope, and it's just not handy to swing fast anymore.
I should probably go buy another plain one for defensive use.
:D
....
Eventually I will get a semiauto .17hmr rifle and I will probably leave that loaded also--with jacketed spitzer bullets, I would bet that it would feed more dependably than unjacketed round-nose .22's do.

None.
I sleep walk on occasion, so I dont keep any loaded & accessable. I do leave loaded magazines next to the 1911s in their drawer, the ARs have a few mags and the shotguns have a big pile of shells next them in the safe.
When I feel I'm ready, I'll load the shotguns up to cruiser ready and leave them under the bed, but that might be a while.

Dang, I had to think on this one. Combat Commander-nightstand. Hi power and p-32-on me or on the dresser opposite the night stand. 870 and m-4 carbine-in racks in back of duty vehicle. Marlin .22- behind living room curtain for varmints. Hi power-roomates room. Glock 22-other roomates room(their guns.) 590-roomates patrol car. Glock 22-truck gun. Glock 19-----DANG, my girlfriend stole it, well its at her house. Now I need to get one out for a kitchen gun, never know when you'll have a home invasion while cooking dinner.

5. .45 Colt Commander., 3-1/2" .45 Springfield micro (my carry), .2" 38 (my other carry when not carrying the .45), Remington 1100 W/ 00 up stairs for nighttime emergencies and a Remington Nylon 66 .22 cal for expelling maxium lead without worrying about over penetration into the neighbors house.

One of the .45's are near me all the time.

Rule # 1 is in effect in this household , too. ASll guns are loaded, all the time until PROVEN otherwise.
However, just glancing around the LR I see 6 handguns and one rifle

Just my KP89. Mag full of 124 gr. Hydrashoks, chamber empty. Don't know why, just don't keep one chambered. Also, another full mag next to it. Hope I never need 20 rounds though!

ALL OF THEM, ALL THRU THE HOUSE, ALL OF THE TIME! If they are not loaded, they are just useless pieces of metal or plastic; throwing them at someone is not an attractive option. Yes, I know, what about kids in the home? Teach them from a very very early age! I have one rule: No matter how busy I am, No matter what I am doing, or how important it is, I will stop and take one of the kids shooting, or let them handle a firearm, whatever; anytime of the day or night, NO MATTER WHAT.

That way, the kids don't have to get "curious" about dad's guns; they know, and always have known, that daddy will let me "play" with them anytime they want; therefore there is no sneaking around, and no resulting problems. Of course, I realize that a lot of people can't walk out the back door and go shooting like I can, but you can still do a lot to cure their curiosity; as in, let them help you disassemble and clean them, how about helping dad reload ammo? You get the idea. All Loaded, All the time.
