For folks as confused as me, the community college has a branch at a mall. So I guess it's really a school shooting.

I wonder what kind of shotgun training the police provided?

P.S. - I bought my first handgun - a Single-Six Conv. - in Christiansburg in '72 while I was still at Tech. I probably wouldn't recognize the place these days.

Back then if you got a ticket you might get taken to the cleaners - the justice of the peace or somesuch ran the cleaners and you'd be told to go pay him.
