New S&W 9mm

It's hammer-fired but I like my hammers exposed. I held it yesterday and nothing good popped out at me saying "buy me" .

I wonder if they will release a version chambered in 380ACP. If they DO release one in 380, I sure hope they spend the time and $$ to fix the reliability issues of the original EZ in 380. If so, I'll get one for the wife.
I have made my wife's 380 EZ reliable but S&W wasn't really much help & the magazines are no longer EZ to load. I replaced the magazine springs with stronger springs. It was always the same malfunction failure to feed on the last round in the magazine. Sometimes the round would go out the ejection port without chambering.

I guess naming a gun after a TV series is cool now. On the plus side, if a judge questions your choice of firearms, you could always say you luv Queen Latifah. Wonder if Henry is going to name one of their Brass Beauties the "Yellowstone"...if they haven't already.

Seriously, this is a gun I'd consider after it's been out a few years.

Interesting how it will fair against the Sig P365XL RX. For me and the other people I know that have the Sig there is just nothing not to like. (Should have a flat trigger face like the Sig)

100% I might get a Sig 365 now it’s been out for a few years. Let everyone be the beta tester 1st.

I would love a 1911 and/or a 1873 with Clint Eastwood name on the frame. But, I’m a commemorative gun junky > good thing no purist like them!

The P365 seems to have worked out the kinks.

I had an EZ 380 that I got before they released the 9mm and I liked it just fine. Never had any trouble with it except that I thought the grip was too small for my arthritic old hands. I will definitely look at one of these if I ever get the chance to fondle one.

Looks like Ruger beat S&W to the 380 high capacity light rack gun in that size platform with their release of the Security 380.
