We shouldn't take away cops rights to sue both the person who shot them and those who provide the means for that. Like the city or state that hired them? How about the dispatcher that sent them on the call? Maybe the victom that called for help?

Great more role calls...... Exactly how much am I paying (in taxes for their salery) for them to YET again call role? I can understand that by calling role CAN give a few extra min. for a little "one on one" with a fence sitter, but come on!! this has to be the 6-7 role call since 4:00 !!

I doubt they will use harsh language, it could offend someone's sensibilities and they could be sued in court for damages, unless a language-based s1805 is passed. They will probably say "STOP!!! Or I will say STOP again!"

A question about the amendments that are being (attempted) to be added to the bill by anti- gunners, those anti-gun semators still won't vote for the bill will they?
It would seem that if you add an amendment to a bill that you should be forced to vote for it.

Yes, but being new, I held my opinions in reserve. I have been "lurking" about on these boards for a long time now, and havent posted before today, because My feelings didnt differ enough from the well stated opinions already posted. I will also say that I "borrowed" many of the pre-written letters to send to my own lawmakers, and have been remiss in saying.. Thank you

The FOP has taken a much more reasonable stance on firearms since they dumped that pimp Dewey Stokes after the AWB and Brady Bill. Those stances never did have any support with the rank and file members.
