S&W Schofield 45 revolver

One of the best westerns Clint Eastwood ever made. Unforgiven.

Beretta 92F - A Better Tomorrow. John friggin' Woo, people. (Maybe Equilibrium for good measure.)
Sterling SMG and Mauser C96 - Star Wars. (The good ones.)
Bren Ten - Miami Vice.
Charter Arms Bulldog - Manhunter.
M41A Pulse Rifle, H&K VP70, and Smith and Wesson 59 - Aliens.

Para-Ordnance P13-45 vs H&K P7M13 - My comic when they make a movie out of it!

AK47 - Red Dawn, Lord of War, Behind Enemy Lines
M16/M4 - Blackhawk Down, Platoon
M60 - Rambo, Hamburger Hill
M14 - Full Metal Jacket
1911 - Thief, Way of the Gun, Last Man Standing
M1 Garand/BAR - Saving Private Ryan
Glocks - Any episode of COPS

I am missing a bunch of the good ones, but I think this is a good start :).

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

Someone help me here... in Jarhead, what sniper rifle did Jake Gyllenhall use? Seems like pretty good representation there.

Krag-Jørgensen = The Rough Riders

Detective Special = LA Confidential

Sharps Rifle = Quigley Down Under

Marlin 336 = Streets of Fire

Buntline Colt = Tombstone

While everyone seems to be focusing on the newer guns, I've always liked the old B&W cowboy movies. So, I'll offer:
- Winchester 1892 - The Rifleman (TV)
- Colt SAA - any of the spaghetti westerns; The Quick and the Dead; Blazing Saddles ("Reckon you can squeeze off a shot from up here?")

A few newer movies/shows
SWAT: the 1911
Under Seige: the MISSOURI's 16" guns :what:
Assassins: the Ruger MkIIs used by Stallone & Banderas

Time for bed...
Q

Ruger P90 - Desperado
Walther PPK - James Bond
Webley - Indiana Jones
USP Match - Tomb Raider
S&W M29 .44 - Dirty Harry

Can I branch out into games here for a minute? :D

USP Match - Half Life 2
AI "AWP" - Counterstrike - and yes, I know it's an AWM ;)
S&W M29 .44 - Fallout
M82A1 - Delta Force Landwarrior multiplayer
M4 Carbine - FarCry

Gotta add one more to my list, just for the laughs.

.22 short starter pistol - Hobgoblins (Any MST3K fans out there!?)

And with regards to that video games list.... Counterstrike and the much-maligned "A-Wopper", classic. Watch out for GreatWhiteShank in CS:S, haha.

And the soon to be video game featuring lovingly rendered Berettas, John Woo's Stranglehold. All hail Mr. Woo and his Beretta clause:

"Where there is one Beretta, there must always be another."

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels: "It's me Bren Gun"

I also like the two Holland and Holland shotguns the entire movie is based upon. Y'know, the one you absolutely know the goofy tossed into the drink when the phone in his mouth rang during the very last scene. That movie was too funny.

Great thread!!, Let me also add that although the Mosins were very prominantly featured in Enemy at the Gates, in addition it could be said that Ed Harris (German countersniper) made a very good case for the K98. ( I think it was a K98 sniper version, please correct me if I'm wrong). I own the movie and will watch it again.

Here are some others that have not been mentioned.
1. Mira Sorvino(super hot babe): Replacement Killers. I am 99.9999% sure she used a Kahr K9 (I have the film), please correct me if I am wrong or if its another Kahr model. It is one of the very few movies that I have seen Kahrs featured in.

2. I am also 99.99% sure that the detectives on Law & Order SVU use Glock 19s. The size of the frame in relation to the body side of the detectives indicate a model 19. Grip to frame ratio as well as hand size.

3. Also, what did the detectives on Miami Vice use.?

4. Lets not forget the recent Punisher movie where he used just about EVERYTHING.

5. Also, Steven Segal? in his films? uses a nice arsenal.

6. Also, aside from the PPK, didn't Bond also in the early days use a low caliber Beretta Jetfire? I would like further research done on this as well.

Remember the joke about Glock's in Lord of War?

The Glock is interesting. It is made of a polymer composite. Many of my clients feel that they can go through airport security without seeing a lot of bells and whistles. Personally, I do not recommend that.

Later,
