We had a GREAT time this weekend, folks. Correia, PvtPyle, and the entire FBMG crew were present. I got to meet some of my fellow High Roaders in person for the first time, like my bro ilcylic, and that was pretty cool as well.
He had an interesting mish-mash of guns. AR-15s of every sort, suppressors, PK machine guns, MP5s, a burp gun converted to 9x19, and everything from a suppressed Walther P22 to a Barret Light Fifty Autoloader.
Oh, and the tannerite.
Special thanks to Steve-o from AR15.com for filming everything. Once the video has been edited and is online, someone will come along and post a link in this thread.
In the mean time, I'm uploading some of the pictures I took.
I had a GREAT time. You could hardly avoid having a great time at such an event! My FAL ran fine until the handguards fell off. (Lost my handguard screw somehow...) Oh well, fixed that with tactical tape.
Of course, every time I let someone ELSE shoot it, it would jam, just to embarrass me, I think.
A few board members got to shoot my FAL, and I have got a couple converted to the design now. I hope I didn't seem edgy; I get grouchy when my rifle jams.
Oh well, I've got to send it back to the 'smith for some parts-fitting anyways.
Firing the light fifty was...interesting. The recoil is not bad; the concussion is like someone is palming you in the forehead.
The machine guns were, of course, the funnest of the fun guns. Everyone loved the PK, but the select-fire Krinkov was a hoot as well. The 9mm-coverted Ppsh was fun, but jammed alot.
I'd like to personally thank everyone that took the time to come out, especially folks like ilcylic and Echo Tango that came from out of state just for this. It was good to see you guys, and you're always welcome to stop by in Utah.
Now, let's see some pictures....
So, uh, what did you guys do this weekend? Watched the game, huh? Cool, cool...
