I haven't seen this one yet:
Winchester '73 - from Winchester '73

What about in Beverly Hills Cop, right before the big raid at the end of the movie, when Billy Rosewood goes to the trunk of his car and loads up. I want the trunk of the car!

Saving Private Ryan - Thompsons and Garands

Though I can think of popular favorites like the pulse rifle of Aliens, I must confess I did love the energy rifle with funky telescoping-barrel of Critters (1986) used by the galactic bounty hunters in their hunt for Krites.
I was 10 years old when I saw that B movie in theaters but loved imagining all I could do with an energy rifle that could trash a toilet (and half the house) in a single shot. LOL Good times!

2 that haven't been mentioned

Harry's .44 automag in Sudden Impact

Tuco's makeshift Navy in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

John Wayne's Modified Winchester 1892 from Stagecoach and Chuck Connor's Winchester.

That's why I bought my Winchester 94 trapper in .45 long colt - the oversized loop...

I recommend wearing gloves if you want to try that spin trick though!

In one of the movies I watched with my grandfather the guy had a handgun that fired either .44 or .45 then underneath the barrel was a 12 ga barrel.

Unfortunately the only reason I would want it would be for all the people that I run into that claim they can shoot any weapon well.

"Blackhawk Down" tells it like it is . . .
American soldiers go where angels fear to tread, yet what else is new? If not Americans, then who? America has always guarded the third world against torturing monsters. Although torture seems the way of life in too many third world countries. Should Americans give up their weapons to become just another third world country? I think NOT! cliffy

What's that got to do with movie guns? Even so, there are at least four points to debate in there!

See that thing mounted to the left of Preddy's head? Yeah, that's the one.

And of course, the Pulse Rifle from Aliens. Preferably with a flame unit velcroed to it.

I liked the .50 BMG the team carried in Navy Seals ( if you haven't seen it...don't) the one that blew 24 inch diameter holes in concrete wall with no discernable recoil.

Call me crazy but I'll just take a Star Trek phaser (not the wussy TNG kind, but the good ones with the pistol grip from TOS or the new movie).
