yes i do. my first rifle was a left handed bolt action savage .22 LR still have it and shoot it every so often.

A .22lr is probably the cheapest of all firearms to shoot and practice with, except maybe a pellet gun or air soft. What's the point of this poll anyway? Almost anyone (>95%) in a gun enthusiast forum is going to answer yes, and other firearms.

Yep.. I sure do. More than one .22lr, among other firearms. My first gun ever was a Marlin 25 bolt action. Wish I still had that one. I do have to concur with other posters though.. what's the point of this poll ?

I love my 22's. I can go to the backyard anytime the mood strikes and fire some Colibri without offending the neighbors.

I have the tried and tested 10.22, which I use for target shooting (25m and 50m) prone, sitting and standing and also turning targets, which the semi-auto function is invaluable. I also have a Henry U/L in I use just for plinking.

I recently sold a pair of 22 rifles. Too bad because that meant I had 22 22s but didn't realize it.

Yep, I've got a Ruger 22/45 and a Remington Nylon 66. Fun plinking guns, cheap to shoot, provide good training. They are also excellent starter guns for newbies.

I have a Savage Stevens Model 73 Youth rifle.
It's a single shot bolty, but it's great for teaching youngsters to safely shoot. The safety goes on automatically when you cock it.
