sorry. IMO - only [fill in the blank] trash puts stickers on their auto... :(

Coronach:

I do have a vanity tag, though, and it is gun-related. But only fellow gunnies would get it (it is the name of a type of gun, like "GLOCK", only a different and less common make).

Oh gee. It's probably something like "SAIGA." Lots of them all over the place wherever you go nowadays.

I have a sticker centered on the lower portion of my rear window of the silhouette of an AK47 - no words....just the gun.

I also have some nifty "Love Our Kids" plates that my state offers. Has a picture of a school house and kids playing outside....all drawn in crayon.

I like kids.....I like guns.....I like kids that like guns.

I dont fear any "problems" from LEO....the school.....or anyone else. If they dont like my car....tuff.

I have a NRA/ILAsticker in the lower right corner of my car's rear window and a Jesus fish the color of the American flag in the left lower right corner.

No, because I feel it will make my vehicle a target for break-in looking for guns. No guns? Well, there's still the registration I'm required by law to keep in the vehicle, with my name and address on it. When they find out where I live they can then burgle my home at their leisure. Or I might be followed home.

Some may call this paranoia. I call it prudence. ;)

I have a license plate frame that says "NRA Life Member" on it.
As for bumper stickers though, I think discretion is probably the better part of valor.

... or the anti abortion people have decals all over their car...because they feel free to state their feelings

We ARE free to state our feelings. Since you brought it up; I am pro-life and pro-gun. Defense of life doesn't start with the 2nd Amendment.

...but I feel like I have to hide mine!

That's your problem. Just because you are afraid to let people know what you feel strongly about doesn't mean others can't or shouldn't.

I have an NRA sticker on my rear driver's side window along with a sticker for my gun club. The club sticker is just a colored bird with no text so unless someone is a member they wouldn't know it has anything to do with firearms.

Simple,

I hate bumper stickers. They're too much of a cliche and in this sound-byte society, I feel that I have more to say than what can fit on a bumper sticker.

I make no bones that I am for 2nd Amendment rights, I just feel that bumper stickers are a waste of time. If the antis "win" in the bumper sticker arena, that's fine. Let them be surprised when we have the presence in the legislatures and court houses.

Yes and No

NRA Sticker and GrassRoots GunRights SC Sticker on my F-250. Nothing on the wife's car because it is newer and prettier than my truck, and I don't want to draw attention to her.

back glass of my pickup has, on one side, a Browning Buckmark and Winchester sticker, other side has an NRA and TSRA sticker...in the middle on top is the MOS symbol of my former profession. :)

Of course, living in Texas, its a bit easier to get away with stuff like that, I reckon...especially in the country.

subtle stuff, no "keep honking - i'm reloading" here. as funny as stuff like that is...

On my Mazda p'up I had an NRA, NRA Instructor, and an IDPA sticker in the rear window. I have thought about putting the instructor sticker my Focus's rear window, but I like my commuter to "blend" and not stand out.

As for making your car a targeet for burglary, I don't buy it. My truck sat outside of our house for six months, but I like to think that the security sign, and motion lights around the house has kept any B&E's from occuring. Honestly, I've always thought of those stickers as a deterrent, and not a welcome message.

I have a sticker on back window of my truck that says "Jesus Forever".
My opinion on gun show stickers is that they make you look like a gun show commando. "keep honking Im reloading" , "guns don't kill people. I do" ,"The voices in my head told me to stay home and clean my guns", "Sniper", "death dealer". What kind of nut wants others to think that they are some kind of crazy killer? Is this what you want the public to believe about gun owners?
I bet the "Sniper" bumper sticker would have gotten you some special treatment during the D.C. sniper shootings.

Got a couple. NRA, RKBA. But I go further. Some may have seen my molon labe tattoo. I also have RKBA on my right forearm. Anytime someone shakes my hand, they are reminded of it. But thats me.

On my F250 I have a small NRA sticker on it.

More space is taken up by Naval Aviation or College stickers.

However, come election season, I put stickers for candidates I support on, in a reasonable amount. Once election season is over, I take them off.

Ive got an nra sticket on the back window of my truck. Ive noticed that it seems like the police walk up slower and try to look in my extended cab with their flashlight more, assuming I have a pile of loaded guns behind the seat. Maybe thats just me being paranoid but i havent gotten a ticket since Ive had that sticker on there either.

I am just not the type of personality to put stickers on... well pretty much anything. Keep thinking about getting one of the light up NRA hitch covers though.
