Now all we need is a few 20cal shooters to join in, and show off that newfangled 5mmRM that Centurion is making now. Rangerruck and Uncle Mike are you listening?
Sounds like the CenterPoint would work perfectly, I can't think of anything better with the features it has in its price range...which is why I chose it (I had already dropped way too much cash on the 'ole 10/22, and oddly enough I think the bipod cost more than the scope ).I'm looking for something strictly for 100 and closer target shooting--.22 lr and .22 mag...I have a limited budget for optics, but I want to improve the accuracy of my Mossberg and 10/22, or at least give them a chance to be more accurate than I am.
Sounds like a Limited Target Magnified Optics Division (use the bullseye targets). If there is a lot of bad weather then this month's match, as well as hectic schedules (due to the holidays) we might extend the match for an additional month (something that we haven't done in the past, at least since I have been the head nut). As Orlando said we typically have a match each month. Tired Traveler, thanks for joining us, this is a good place to take a break. Not sure due to weather in Ohio, but I will make an effort to enter. What class would an Win. Model 52B with scope be classified into?
My apologies if it wasn't clear before, it sounds like a Limited Target class, Magnified Optics division to me.What about my gun, what class, or should I wait until I submit the target?
Jolly good, Steven; you can join us rebels.Entries from across the pond allowed?
Basically, there are two divisions (magnified and non magnified sighting devices), and three sub-classes (unlimited target, limited target, and sporting). The sporting class is shot unsupported, both target classes may be shot supported, regardless of optics division. From the way I read this the class with magnified optics can be shot "supported" but the sporting class isnt? I must be not reading this right?
What about the other words?Maverick, Thanks for the kind words.
Thank gawd, we can all rest easy now. Got irons?...that sounds like the perfect setup for a nice set of redfield rear/globe front sights.I have a couple of Anschutz's that I would like to shoot but their scopes wont focus at 50 ft.
All you have to do is get a perfect score. With paper like that no use trying
