October 2009 Rimfire Match!

A few people have expressed problems opening (and/or viewing and printing) the 25yd. target. I believe this may be due to the lack of Adobe Acrobat (Reader). To remedy the problem I have created an image file of the same target. If there are any further issues with this or the 50yd target feel free to contact me day or night (unless you know my phone no.), and I will respond promptly within the next 48hrs. :p

P.S.: Adobe Acrobat is available FREE, I urge you all to install it as it is good software that will likely be useful in the future. :)

Had a misfire on the last target and disrupted my position. Apparently didn't reset my NPOA high enough...

This is a fairly recently (last 2 yrs or so) manufactured rifle.

Good shooting ifit, the first (unscoped) target looks like a near-perfect score of 58, tying Orlando for 1st place Sporting. Unfortunately the second target was what I feared might happen with 30 rounds in the center target. Unfortunately it was only supposed to be 10 rounds in center target and 5 per small corner target (per post No. 25). My apologies for the lack of clarification. :)

I am really getting tired of the weather here...rain, followed by more rain for the last couple weeks. Next week (and perhaps this weekend) is looking good, so I might get to shoot then. Yay! :)

Too much coffee this week. :) I read this as a 56/60. Maverick will make the call though.

Thanks Maverick223. There's a big hole right there on the edge and it's hard to tell where they went in. You're giving me a break there I think.

Also, this rifle is more of a target rifle than a sporter (peep rear with globe front) so I think I'm in the target class. I don't think this score will last in that class. :)

I agree with your assessment, but I think it might last...there hasn't been much interest in that particular class as of yet, and I don't own one to compete against you with (I only have two semi sporters, and one pump). :)

Hi, Mav. I'm a little confused on the supported/unsupported rule. If I understand it right, using any support (front sand bag, porch rail, fence post) will automatically put you in the unlimited class, regardless of target, distance, or type of rifle. Is that right? Any more information or clarification is appreciated.

THANKS :)
